December Activities

We have a number of library programs scheduled for December. Here is the current list:
  • Dec. 3 - John Englert Fine Forgiveness Day. All materials returned that day will carry no fines.
  • Dec. 3 - John Englert's birthday. In memory of Mr. Englert's dedication to the library, we'll serve cookies and beverages from 2-5 p.m.
  • Dec. 4 - The library will host Game Night from 4-6 p.m. Teens are invited to bring games & systems or use the library's Wii.
  • Dec. 5 - The library will host Santa & a Movie. The day starts with seasonal movies for children at 11 a.m. At 1 p.m., jolly old St. Nick will make his appearance. Kids will have an opportunity to read to Santa and tell him their holiday wishes. Cameras are welcome.
  • Dec. 15 - Fantasy Fiction book discussion group will meet from 5-6 p.m. The group will discuss Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. This event is open to anyone with an interest in this genre. It is not necessary to read the book to attend the meeting.
  • Dec. 15 - Ford City Library Book Discussion Group will meet at 6 p.m. The group will discuss The Liars' Club by Mary Karr. The group is open to new members.
  • Dec. 15 - Ford City Public Library Board of Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. The meeting is open to the public.
